Carlos C. Sevilla

He’s young, driven, and kind. He’s our CEO and I am very fortunate to work with him… Fortunate for so many reasons but most especially learning about business and life. He’s one of the people I don’t want to see sad. He’s such a great leader that it would really be nice that I help out with his business. I like his idea that he doesn’t consider his staff just an employee but as a part of his extended family.

I will never forget his good heart. It may be a simple gesture but it is really nice that he’ll notice when you’re sad and offer a hand, joins you when you’re happy, and do the extra special gesture to make you even happier. He appreciates a good work and for that I strive to be better with my responsibility.

Sir Carlos, do I have to include the second name at the title? Your call. (^_^)

Rico Sabino

He’s one of the nicest bosses! He’s intelligent, funny, and interesting… I never thought it’s possible to be sad after a meal; he is that person, though no one can top him from creating and composing great I.T. solutions in our company.

He’s a friend to everybody at the office. I really appreciate it when he is very patient on me especially when I am getting hyper after taking too much sweet. It’ll be hard to forget how he would always remind me to get some water (^_^) either drink it or pour the water on me to get zap back to reality.

Good Cop, Bad Cop

My parents played the role of a Good Cop and Bad Cop. If Papa was the bad cop for instance then Mama will play the good cop and vise versa. It’s really good that one of the parents will honestly tell you what’s wrong, though it is painful to hear the truth, it was better; then the good cop will remind you that you are loved and cared no matter what.

Right now, the baby in our house is our youngest sister Jensen whom I call Shobe. Since Papa passed away and Mama is in abroad working, my other sister Jenny and I serve as Jensen’s parents. Funny that both of us also pick a role in deciding with our Shobe’s needs and wants. I wonder how will I ever handle it if I’ll have my own children. Surely, I need to pick a role too at different circumstances. The most important thing is parents should explain why it is not allowed or why it is. Logical, reasonable, and loving explanations are badly needed by every child. Geez, I hope I am getting this right because I just played the good cop and allowed my Shobe to stay overnight with her friend’s house while Jenny was quite firmed that Shobe shouldn’t be allowed to do so.

Judge Marivic Daray

I never met a real justice judge before and it was such an amazing experience to finally meet one in person… I am not patronizing her but Judge Daray is one of the coolest judges. She’s cool not only because she let me sit on her chair in the court – yes I got a photo to prove it but I’m still on the process of thinking whether to post pictures here or not (^_^) maybe later… she’s really cool because all she really wanted is for the Philippine court system to be efficient. She wants to have an organized process, she wants everybody to really do their task assigned to them, and personally she’s very warm, happy, hospitable, and super friendly.

Mylene “Ate Mai” Camacho

September 5, 2006 is Ate Mai’s birthday. The Softrigger Family surprised her with a yummy giant mocha cake with flower shaped sugar candies and the famous “Happy Birthday” song.  She was really surprised, happy, and thankful.

Ate Mai usually makes delicious iced tea but yesterday was really interesting because she made the sweetest iced tea I’ve ever tasted. It can’t be denied that it was sprinkled with love. Truly, she’s one of the nicest moms our office has though she’s way look younger to be our mommy! (^_^)

Amazing when our hearts smile everything around us and even the things we do become beautiful.
